Staff were friendly and the room was great. The water pressure in the shower was outstanding - probably the best I’ve ever had in a hotel shower. I cannot recommend this place enough. Great location in between Gatlinburg and pigeon forge - easy to commute between locations if you wanted to do both.

Our room was huge - more like an apartment! It was spotless and the bed incredibly comfortable. The staff was lovely too.

What a gem! I chose The Tennessean for my first trip to Knoxville to tour UTK with my daughter, and it exceeded every expectation. As a former luxury hotel professional, I can confidently say their standards of service and cleanliness are top-tier. The entire staff was incredibly courteous and helpful, and the property itself is beautiful, immaculate, and loaded with wonderful amenities. We loved using the gym, and taking their golf cart shuttle to dinner one night was an absolute highlight! The location is truly perfect, offering easy walking distance to local shops, sights, restaurants, and the university. With my daughter starting graduate school at UTK, I’ve officially found my permanent lodging for all future visits.
